The Palio Amigo 40+ is slightly slower than the other 40+ / Premium pads from Palio. It is also less elastic and playful, even more of a typical China covering. This is of course due to the upper rubber, which has not been changed compared to the old version of the Palio Amigo and is therefore a sticky upper rubber of older design. The sponge of the Amigo 40+ is as hard as the sponge of the Amigo (hardness approx. 42-44 degrees), but it is much faster and more catapult-stronger. The great strength of this version is certain, but the control is still hardly lower.
The Amigo 40+ is therefore a flooring for an unpleasant block and counter play, whose high tempo reserves also enable effective own attacks. It is especially suitable for the table-close play with shorter arm movements. It is also a nice alternative for players who have played undercover from Friendship. The weight of this covering is in the average range.
